I am a teacher, SENDCo, tutor and specialist dyslexia assessor, with nearly thirty years teaching experience. I have also worked for the British Dyslexia Association, as a tutor on their Level 5 SpLD course training teachers to be dyslexia specialists, as well as writing webinars and teaching materials on multisensory tuition.

When my children were younger I established a summer school, called Summer’s Cool, which ran very successfully for several years. The ethos of the school was to use a multisensory approach to fully engage learners and aid memory.
